Moving money for people who work across borders
Payd lets freelancers, creators, contractors and the businesses that pay them send and receive money from anywhere to anywhere. USD and EUR accounts, stablecoins, mobile money and banks, in one account.

Why we started Payd
We started as freelancers in Kenya working for clients abroad. Payments took days to arrive, banks took a large share of each one, and getting the money onto M-Pesa meant another step and another fee.
So we built the account we wanted: local USD and EUR details that clients abroad can pay, stablecoins where banks don't reach, and a quick way to move money to the mobile money and bank accounts people use every day.
Today Payd also works the other way. Businesses use it to pay contractors, partners and suppliers across Africa with nothing more than an email address, phone number or username.
How we work
Show the fee first
Every price is public, and the app shows the fee before you confirm anything.
Pay people where they are
M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, a bank account or a stablecoin wallet. The person being paid decides.
One place for your money
Getting paid, holding money and paying out happen in the same account.
Answer like a person
When something goes wrong, you reach someone on email or WhatsApp who can fix it.
